Over 5o years ago, a 20 year old man set out from snowy Duluth, Minnesota on his quest to live the “California dream”. With only a high school education, he took a job as a shoe salesman to make ends meet. In 1964, a customer shared with the young man that he was in the trim industry. At first, the idea of building a business selling buttons and tags seemed laughable, but not long after, the young man was knee deep in the industry and loving every minute of it. That young man was Hersh Cherson, founder and CEO of Global Trim. The son of European immigrants, Hersh built Global Trim from the ground up, founded on the premise that when you provide exceptional service, your customers appreciate it. It is this philosophy that has helped us build long-standing relationships with our clients.

Since 1995, our team at Global Trim has mastered the art of creating unique trim pieces for clients all over the world.
